Originally from Houston, Texas, my family relocated to New Boston in 1968 and I have lived here ever since, except for a 3 year period spent in Dallas. After graduating from New Boston High School in 1976, I married Regina Hall, a DeKalb native, and spent several years working in different jobs before deciding to pursue a degree and enter the teaching profession.
I began my teaching career in 1992 at DeKalb Elementary School, where I taught second grade. I took over as Technology Director for DeKalb ISD in 1995 and remained in that position until 2007 when I accepted the position of Technology Director for New Boston ISD. I remained in that position until 2016 when I retired from that position and moved into the role of Technology Services.
