Gifted & Talented Program
2025-2026 Nomination Window

New Boston ISD’s Gifted and Talented Program is currently
accepting K-12 referrals for the 2025-2026 school year.
Gifted and Talented students excel consistently or show the
potential to excel in general intellectual ability, specific subject
matter, aptitude, and creative thinking. Referred students are
identified using a variety of measures, including academic and
gifted characteristic scales, standardized tests of cognitive abilities,
and portfolios of work. The identification process will take place
by the G/T Committee during the fall and early spring semesters.

Referral forms are available in the New Boston Elementary-
Oakview Primary School office at 530 Hospital Drive. For more

accepted now through October 17, 2025.
